Cache Valley Greek Yogurt Dips Review

I’m dealing with some pretty picky eaters these days. Nothing new if you’re a parent used to trying to get your kids to eat healthy meals. Recently I was offered the opportunity to try something new from Cache Valley, their new Creamy Greek Yogurt Dips, and I thought they might be on to something.

The kids love to dip their food, regardless of whether it’s a traditional dipping food (chips or carrots) or not. I’ve seen the old PB&J take a swan dive into the ranch dressing. {gag}

So a couple of weekends ago I gave these babies a whirl when visiting my dad and his wife.

Personally, I’ve fallen in love with Greek yogurt. It’s not as sweet as regular yogurt, but packs a lot of nutrition and calcium in its yummy taste.

We received samples of two of Cache Valley’s new dips, Spicy Garden Vegetable and French Onion. They also have Ranch.

I have to say the Spicy Garden, with its picture of a hot pepper on the front, is not kidding. It packs a punch. I liked the unique flavor. It went really well with the carrots we served.

My husband, a big spice lover, couldn’t get enough of it. Maybe I have hope of getting more than the kids to eat better with these dips? One of my kids seemed to like it, but the other wasn’t as into the spice.

No matter, the French Onion was a hit with everyone.

The difference with these dips is they have that Greek yogurt tang as opposed to the sweeter dip taste of traditional sour cream based dips. Personally, I really liked them, and the whole family seemed to be a little let down when the samples ran out.

If this sounds tasty, please consider visiting www.cashevalleydips.com for coupon and take it down to your local Walmart to pick up some tasty goodness of your own. You can also follow Cache Valley on Facebook for more promotions and tasty ideas.

*I received two samples of Cache Valley Dips, a serving platter and three kinds of dippers in order to provide you with this review. I made no promises for a positive review. I really did like this product.

Sounds yummy. I made a homemade veggie dip/soup mix for my SIL to take camping. Well, I though it was a soup but it turned out to be a fanastic dip, as well, so I can understand how good it must have been. Come visit when you can.
