I saw this as I was fueling up in Shorline, Washington this week. They had one of these posted next to every pump. I have to give the 76 marketing folks come credit. This made me laugh so hard I had to pull out my camera and share. Enjoy!

I just love it when companies decide it’s OK to be funny. That clearly got my attention and I shared it. There’s too much seriousness out there in advertising. I’ve always appreciated a little fun.

I absolutely LOVE IT!

I thought that was rather creative. Did you see the little triangle pointing left next to the pump (like what you see in cars that remind you what side the gas tank is on). I want their ad agency. Clever folks!

We have started positive reinforcement with the kids. They are bucking against it, but all proudly display their chore charts and bug us to mark off the completed items.

Kids sure love squashed things. On a family vacation long ago, we stopped for gas and discovered the last traces of a little varmit on the hood of the car. Big yuck, but what a delight for my brothers. We still have to talk about it, 20 years later.

Oooo, you should send in a photo so they can add a Children’s Guide to Squished Varmits!

Hi there! I’m over from Melissa (Dr Mom)’s blog! Now that I’m here, I recognize your avatar… you must be a 31DBBBer. 😉 It’s great to connect with your site. Hi Adriel! Great meeting you and thanks for stopping by. Yes, I did the 31DBBB. This whole site got a revamp as a result. I’m feeling great about the blog now. How is your doing since the challenge? I’m excited to hear you are looking forward to learning more about positive discipline. Please don’t ever hesitate to drop me a note if you have questions, concerns or even would love to see me write something on a specific topic.

Love that! My son would be obsessed with that poster. I am sure he would want a copy for his room. Kudos to 76 for giving you a laugh while pumping gas – a job I absolutely LOATH!

That’s too funny, he’s want this in his room. The other side of the poster was a little more boring. It was stretches to do while pumping gas. Creative, but not as funny.
